Mismatched kitchen whites

So, we bought bright white cabinets from cliqstudios and later on a white Unique Classic Retro fridge. I’m wondering if it’s a problem that the two whites do not exactly match. I had thought they would be a lot closer. This will be an Airbnb in a walkout basement just for context.
The only other white retro fridge I could find was a smeg one which was around $3000 (and get bad reviews for functionality) compared to this one for $1000.
Would love to hear your opinions on whether you think the colors match sufficiently!?

It's always easier to contrast than match. Since all your appliances are black, I'm wondering why you didn't continue that with the fridge? Additionally, the retro design doesn't seem to complement your other selections which are not retro.

    Here's a black Whirlpool fridge for $1400

is it too late to exchange it for a black model? I think the black or black SS would look better.

Or, you could get some appliance paint and have it sprayed (but I don't think it's necessary)

But, check out how they did this fridge in the same small space like yours. this is super cute

    Great contrast color, eh?

You have almost no counter space. will you be doing a little island

or perhaps a peninsula coming off that wall?

BTW, do you plan on putting up a wood shelf above that green tile? I think it would be a nice addition

(I might have gone all the way up w/the green tile and done a few sconces, like shown here:

one or two wood shelves across the wall would add some extra storage and decor options

but I think once you get everything done and all the accessories added, I don't think the brighter white color will stick out as much.

Look at some of these pics. (I'd also bring in a colorful rug like they show in these)

Also, if you paint that surrounding wall color something other than white, it's one less white 'thing' you have to worry about competing w/the cabs and fridge.

I'm not saying you do pink, but see how they picked a diff color ? I like the rug too

I'd look for something like this black and natural textures colors, w/ bits of copper and green.

Maybe do an accent wall w/some wood cutting boards and copper utensils or some copper pots and greenery.

    love the black w/the wood

Thank you both for your feedback! It’s actually not too late to return it, so maybe I will change it out for black SS. Or another color?!

I went with this style/color having fallen in love with various Pinterest pictures, but I see now that it’s there it doesn’t blend in too well!

We will be putting up two wood shelves for extra storage and will hopefully have room for a console table / slim island too.

I don't think it is horrible at all because it is a character piece. If you can exchange it for black that would work better though.

    What a great space!

Great if you can exchange for black. Most white cabinets I’ve seen are usually a softer white than white appliances. It can make it a little tricky combining them. As Beverly posted, it’s easier to contrast.

I'd exchange it for black. While the vintage look doesn't exactly fit, if you love it I think you can pull it off with the black vs. the white fridge. But other black or black SS models would work too if there's one that fits in that width (that's the part that may be tricky!)
