Just a few suggestions after looking at your pics …. for starters I would remove ( or relocate ) the clock over the sofa, reposition the art centered over the sofa. I would remove the candles? mounted too high next to the door i would look for a new floorlamp to replace the current torchiere / shelf one next to the sofa ( Lamps Plus, even Target has some ). There are other things depending upon how much you have left to spend ( such as new sofa pillows, something for the coffee table, etc.). I assume the table & chairs are positioned as they are due to the partition in the window?

I agree with the others regarding the clock and lamp, but one thing that will really elevate your room is full, expansive curtains versus the thin, non descript ones you have now. I would be inclined to dedicate my entire budget to curtains.

Scale is very important to fine tuning a space. The art on the wall should be larger to make a more impresive statement.

TV prices are at an all time low, a larger screen would work better in the space.

Best value for the $300 would be cushions that bring out the art a bit better and a floor lamp with more ambient lighting. Remove the clock, center/lower the art.

Suggest centering the table and removing blue drapes.

Rather than a task lamp I think a lamp that provides more ambient light such as … not necessarily this one but there are zillions similar in different finishes.

Let your colorful art be the star. Remove the decor objects from tables and walls. Clock, vases, wall widgets, all of it should be put away for at least a few months.

Replace grommet curtains with pleated curtains hanging from rings. Casual rooms can get grommet curtains, but elegant rooms require more formal curtains. See photo for example of full, lavish curtains with rings.

Also, paint the white cabinet door (with holes) the same color as the rest of the cabinet.

No to the clock, get one color drapes and much fuller and some pillows in colors from the art and smaller . I kind of like the lamp but not grat lighting. I might put the sheepskin on the floor no rug .

If this were my room, I would pair the art over the TV and the art that is a face together over the couch. Move the couch art to over the tv. The 2 pieces look like different sizes, so placement would be very important. You could mark off the shapes on the wall with painter's tape before you try hanging them and ask for more advice here. Maybe try just balancing those two pieces on the back of the sectional to see if they would work together. I agree the clock doesn't add anything good to the room.

There's something about your throw pillows that is clashing with your overall glam style. Do you actually use your pillows to support your back? Minimize the number to what you actually use and make them a glam style in a size and shape perfect for its use. If you don't use them get rid of them all. Throw pillows are cheap decor and keeping them or even replacing them is still a half-hearted effort that still screams "cheap". This advice is contrary to standard, but your style is not standard.

Center the table at the window. Symmetry elevates. Lower wall objects so the vertical centers are 60" from the floor. Let your sheers hang straight. Your torchier is crooked; can you adjust it? Nice clock but I agree it doesn't pair well with the print. Move it somewhere else and center the print.

If you want to spend money, see what you can find to replace your console. But I think just making the small changes for free will help.

The art over the TV being larger than the TV is an example of poor scale. Your sectional screams lounging TV watching arena but your TV says "we have it for news only" again poor scale. Is the art over the TV larger than what's over the sectional? Perhaps a swap, I see several fun pieces of art. Maybe they just need to be rearranged. Nothing new purchased? No to random mirrors and clocks. The breakfast table has to be centered on the window, if not removed. Why is it waaaay over there, unless the door to the right is the kitchen??? Oh I see it's to the patio. I agree on the curtains, they could be richer more elegant just by adding more panals. So remove everything from the walls and focus on the art --everything other little thing can go away. Hang a larger TV over the console. If you flip the room and put the seconal in the left corner perhaps you would open things up a bit and have room for the table closer to the kitchen.

I would move one of the chairs away from that tiny table unless 3 people sit there all the time. The scale is too large for the tiny table.

With a $300 budget, I would focus on the elements that create the strongest visual change without replacing the main furniture.

Full-length curtains hung closer to the ceiling can make the room look taller and more polished. A warm table or floor lamp will create more depth than relying only on overhead lighting. I would then add two or three coordinated pillows, one larger piece of wall art, and a simple tray or decorative object for the coffee table. Keeping the colours consistent will make inexpensive pieces look more intentional and elegant.
