What possible help will that be? We need to see your spce to even begin to answer the question. The size is done often but keep in mind the walkwyas are more important than the island size so post your floor plan to scale on graph paper showing all measurements clearly and post here in a commnet in jpeg format. DO NOT start another post .

Many have 4x6 islands - including myself. What good will that do you if you are not sharing your space. Also - you can google this if you only want to see a 4x6 island.
