Very nice! I tried growing this once (I think from seed) but had a bad season and the seedlings didn't survive. I will have to try again!

I mostly have just purple and White Swan echinacea. I started some Green Twister last year from seed. They didn't seem to do well so I started more this year, and now last year's are coming back quite well and strong, as well as the new seedlings doing well. Looking forward to them!

Also, I was completely smitten with pictures here on GW of Rainbow Marcella, so I bought some of those this spring. Fingers crossed for those too!

I do know about MT Cuba Cyn thank you! There's also a newer green coneflower called Echinacea SunSeekers Apple Green I'm thinking of trying it!

diggerdee, I tried Green Twister it didn't survive the winter, I'm also thinking of getting White Swan, I heard good things about it. Is White Swan a good bloomer?

Marigold I would say White Swan is a pretty good bloomer. To be honest the last few years I haven't noticed them much. They're in an old bed, one which is pretty neglected now. When I first planted the coneflowers, they reseeded so prolifically that I ripped out an awful lot. Then when my gardening focus changed and this bed got neglected, well, the neglect got the better of everything in it. If I recall, I feel like currently the purple coneflowers bloom more than the White Swan, But it could be that I ripped out more WS than purple (who knows when they're seedlings??) or maybe they don't seed as prolifically as the purple. But this bed is almost 25 years old and I'd say the first five to seven years were good, before the neglect lol.

diggerdee, I also enjoy Magnus it blooms a lot despite it's in a shady location!

Echinaceas perform really well in my garden. I have many varieties, but my favorite is not a fancy one. It’s Bright Star. It blooms for about 9 weeks and gently reseeds, which enables me to gift it to friends. I love its soft pink color because it goes well with everything else in my garden.

That being said, I love to try new varieties and this year I added Supreme Cantaloupe and Sunseekers Rainbow.

Green Jewel looks like a keeper!!
