Just finished a bathroom reno. Design builder put in a linear drain.

I noticed immediately that the draining sound was ongoing and loud while showering but have never had linear drain so don’t know if normal.

After traveling I noticed the hotel and airport lounge linear drains were much quieter.

Is this normal?
