I'd leave the structure alone. Plant some bouganvillea in large pots on either side of the garage and add trellises to have them climb. It will take some time for them to spread but it will inject color and make it more interesting.

if you are looking for a quick enhancement,

a simple piece of millwork at the peak... they are available ready made.

natural, paintable, rustic...

Remove the awning over the little window.

I would personally, replace the garage door. But if that is not in the budget, the millwork enhancement will work with any future plans. merely an example of the gabel millwork.

How about a railing on garage overhang? I don't mean to try and make it a porch (although that would be fun to get a view). I'm suggesting just a facelift.

You could trim out that one window and add a flower box and shutters The plants are so far away from curb sight you could use faux plants. There are some that really fool the eye.

As @Sabrina Alfin Interiors suggest add some climbers on the corners of garage.

I would use the flower box photo above as my inspiration and choose a wood look garage door.

You can also paint the garage door you have.

Garage update or paint would definitely be a nice easy touch that covers a lot of space, and the bougainvillea is a great idea! I didn’t know I could grow all that from a pot but the image shows it’s doable!

I would put either large house numbers to the right of the window or some wall art.
