I think it's the weather. I had a couple whose upper leaves looked like that. Here in central Indiana, we finally got rain, but the nighttime temps get too low for healthy tomatoes. I was just thinking to myself last night "Is climate change going to make gardening a lot more difficult?". I sure hope not. Hopefully yours will correct themselves soon.

Yellowing and curling tomato leaves are often fungal infections. If you've had tomatoes in the same place for many seasons, that's all the more likely. 36F is pretty low, and while that might stunt the plant, I wouldn't think it would cause yellow leaves. I plant out tomatoes very early in the season, and sometimes get temps that low. If the damage is from cold temps, you certainly shouldn't be pulling them. If from fungal infections, then fungicide application might have been a smart proactive move. Fungicides aren't that good at killing existing infections.

I should add that if you had wind with 36F temperatures, especially with low humidity, you might have tripped the freeze limit, from evaporative cooling. 32F is deadly, but temperatures even approaching that can be dangerous.

I have limited knowledge but to me it looks like herbicide damage. Hopefully, someone more familiar with seeing this type of damage will chime in.

If it's on the new growth/tips of vines, it may be curly top virus...
