Are they well rooted? if so they should be ok outside once they have been properly hardened off. Figs grow happily in hot places.

I believe they are well rooted, but the roots may get a little damaged when I separate them.

How should I harden them off? Should I keep them in the shade outside?

They still look very fragile for hot water, and dry air.

You need to introduce them to outside temperature and dry air slowly, start with half hour in early morning sun and increase time every day, do not forget to moisten them spray water on them.

Make sure soil is moist not wet.

You can allso introduce them to the outdoor inin full day shade but use sprey bottles to moisten it at last every hour, or wait until it cools off or for rainy days.

If you need to seperate them and they have good roots, do that first. Give them a week or two to make sure they are taking to the transplant OK or wilting off further. Either start turning the pots regularly or use an extra light if possible- your leaves turned to the window like that are looking for light. Then start hardening them off gently, your area is indeed getting hit with hot temps.

If they don't have good roots yet, I would keep them inside still till they do have good roots. Be careful with keeping the soil evenly moist, not too wet or dry.
