I voted for West Ashville.

It's an imaginative use of a small lot to create a "woodsy oasis" rather than poking a modernist thumb in the eye of neighbouring homes. Also, the architect's presentation was devoid of any references to "voids," "massing" and similar lingo.

( I would have wondered why Marvin was the sponsor had I not received their $180K quote for windows on our modernist build. Wish I had the funds!)

I loved the bridge, passthrough and stairs to the courtyard on that build. Creative separation of the wings and what a funky entrance.

Lots of cash in all the windows in those builds....

I know it is just me, but none of these building say "Welcome home", they seem cold and sterile. The West Asheville house comes the closest.

I love the setting of the Meadow home. All the homes are too narrow for my taste. Most of my life I’ve lived in early 20th century homes. Give me a bungalow any day.
