I like what you currently have as a color scheme. It works well with the stone.

I have adjusted the color of the cornice that extends above the stone below the arched window on the right.

You might want to select a larger lantern with brackets for over the entrance.

I also like the current colors. Love the lantern suggestions from Beverly.

You could go with what you have, but reverse the colors. Darker for the stucco and lighter for the trim. You're options are somewhat limited due to that light stone, but I think going darker on the stucco would look great.

I'm with other posters. What you have now isn't bad but since your stone is rather warm in value you could consider a warmer cream for the walls. I wouldn't got to pinkish though.

I don't know...The Wool Skein and Natural Choice are so pretty with your stone. Is your house gray?...my monitor isn't the best but I'm leaning away from grays now and into warmer tones, too.

Wool Skein & Fawn Brindle for the win! Suggested larger light fixture is brilliant idea (no pun intended) and I didn't notice the gutter at first, but now I can't un-see it! Your home is lovely.

Your paint colors are fine - I agree with the gutter painting - use the body color. You could pop some trim with a charcoal gray to coordinate with your roof. But what you really need after that is landscaping with color - not sure where you are, but a red maple or copper beech would be a good focal point. Rhodos, azaleas, flowering shrubs of some kind. Lillies. Coneflowers. Some organic shapes to soften all these hard lines and stone. A window box over the garage if you can make that work with the window. Good luck!

I really hope you're talking about painting the stucco instead of the natural stone. Painting natural stone never looks right. If you want to just change the tone of it, you could use limewash, which would protect the stone as well.

Yes! I think a garage door upgrade would have a huge impact. I like the current colors of your house but it’s a personal choice. And yes paint the gutter snake.

Have you looked at SW Evergreen Fog? It looks like it would contrast with your stone beautifully.

Maybe paint the trim white and some of the other suggestions are great too such as a new light and garage door. Maybe even lime wash the stone to make it lighter but overall it’s not bad. Painting the gutter would be good too. Lastly, some color in those pots would be a nice pop

Wool Skein wouldn't be my first choice. ( you'll see why with all the diff palettes below).

but here's two other tones w/the light someone else mentioned, and a darker, diff style garage door.

how to apply diff colors and where:

See how the fascia is the darker color? I also like the wood accents and landscaping. new lighting, address numbers. truss accents.

what you could also do is the soffit. the underside of the eaves? as an example, here is mine.

If you go w/a lighter trim color along the fascia, think about doing the darker contrast shade for the soffit.

here's a nice color palette. the urbane bronze, enduring bronze, or if you want warmer tones, the twine color would all look nice on the soffit / underside. (you could also just do the fascia)

I gave you wood garage door in ithis pic, but you could paint thedoor to match the soffitt color. Up to you if you want to paint the downspout. some people like the contrast, others like it to blend. I gave you some other color choices further down.

don't want dark contrast? what if you went w/these shades and did copper? paint the down spout in a aged copper shade, copper numbers, maybe a wood door. any of these shades would look nice w/your stone

bring in a bit of the bronze-ish gray/green tones along w/the warmer neutrals.

Hi @pkatzzz! It may not show on the screen, but the house color can sometimes read beige/yellow and to me, it feels a bit dated. I want to stay with the neutrals, but am hoping to update those for a fresher look. I hope that makes sense! Thanks!

I would go with taupe or of-white.

@Beth H. - Here is another version- it may look better on screen than in real life, but I used SW Modern Gray for the main color, BM Raccoon Fur for the soffit and garage door, and BM Sage Mountain for the trim. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Go warmer white or beige. Gray has been overdone the last twenty years.

One of the beautiful things about stucco is that it doesn't need to be painted. My last home had the original stucco when I sold it 46 years after it was built.

Once you paint you have to repaint over and over again every 7-10 years from what I have read.

If you can live with the original color why add repetitive maintenance?

haley, you're going to HAVE to get actual samples and try them out. (please prime over the current color w/white so you get a true color reading) trying to choose off a screen is very

difficult. lighting will alter how the actual color looks in person.

not sure that I like stone lion (at least in the mock up) its very similar to what you have.

modern gray may have too much pink. see the diff here?

Athena might be a nice shade. Light Pewter too. I have that in my kitchen.

I like these. soft suede might be a better choice. or, try one of the other grieges listed above

Dvivine white would also be a nice stucco color.

You will have to do samples to see how these colors look w/your stone.

what I do is go to home deport and get a color match for sw or bm colors in the behr sample pots. they're only $3 and are very close. (BM has their own tints and is difficult to get an exact match w/other paint) I like using Behr paint, so if you like the color w/the color match sample, just use the behr paint.

so, I'd get multiple samples and try them out on the stucco. it's the only way to be sure

I have similar Texas lime exterior and SW Greek Villa was a good match for mine. There are so many shades in the stone it’s really hard to pick, be ready to buy a lot of samples! Also my sister has stone with more orange variation and the front door looks spectacular in SW Mount Vernon as an accent. Good luck!
