Laundry Faucets - Moen Arbor Pulldown vs. Kohler Simplice Pullout

As part of the Moen Plus loyalty program, I bought myself the Moen Arbor pulldown laundry faucet for less than $100. Now it is being released to the general public and the price has skyrocketed to around $250.

One of our neighbors is remodeling their laundry room with a new sink, and I am trying to help them with a new faucet. There are two options I am suggesting to them - the Moen Arbor pulldown laundry faucet and the Kohler Simplice Pull-Out Laundry Faucet.

Compared to kitchen faucets, these have a higher flow rate at 4.0 gpm.

We love our Moen Arbor Pulldown laundry faucet, but it is a bit pricey; we were lucky enough to get early loyalty pricing on ours. The Kohler Simplice Pullout is currently significantly cheaper.

Some of the differences is that the Kohler Simplice is aerated and has a sprayer mode; the Moen does not. However, the Moen has a garden hose attachment which some might find useful in a laundry room. Aesthetically, the Moen Arbor pulldown is much nicer. Our neighbor has a tight budget, so I just wonder if the Kohler Simplice pullout is the better option, since it is significantly less expensive.
