Pictures would be great! Since you already have dark cabinets, going dark won't be a big change. What is your wall color? I prefer the wall color relate to the backsplash and/or grout. I much prefer a greige cabinet to bright white. Do you have any natural stone elements in your home (fireplace, backsplash, etc.)? If so, white will not look right at all. I love the look below (including some color options similar), but it may be too much with your new floors and you may need some color like a blue or green, but I'm thinking a softer/dustier color will work better with your elements than the bold dark shades you mentioned. Your counters play a huge role as well!
