Yes, it’s marble… ugh. It’s a lost cause isn’t it? Man it’s brand new!

Contact a stone restorer, they fix issues like this we had to have one come in after a house sitter cut lemons on our brand new marble island without a cutting board because she was afraid the lemon would hurt the wood. It was expensive, but looked brand new when done.

You can't use bleach with marble!

Unfortunately it was our babysitter who used the bleach. She was trying to be helpful but should’ve just left it. Unfortunately there isn’t anything so can do about that.

Of course she also was not aware of the stamping… but that’s another story.

Taping of a tile, I’d try rubbing alcohol in a spot. Next, try a green dry board marker. Last, I have used krud kutter paint gloss remover for graffiti and it worked well. Even paint peroxide in a test spot. If these fail it is time for a pro.

Think sharpie on a surface, ie., graffiti. Often the sharpie marks can be removed or diminished by tracing over with the same color dry erase marker. Whatever you try, do a small bit as a test. These are suggestions, I have never had your exact situation.

I would tape off the tile and try a magic eraser. It shouldn't hurt the grout, but if the ink has soaked down too far, it might not work. Last resort is to head to the tile store and buy grout colorant in the color of the grout and paint over the green. It's used all the time to change the color of grout, so it might work.

As has been suggested, contact a stone restoration company. It's done all the time. They have the equipment and process to fix it. Unless of course, you are in a remote area with few resources like that.

The suggestions to use a professional stone restoration company are probably the best option to make sure the floor is not damaged by trying to remove the green. If the green simply cannot be removed, it's possible to carve out and re-grout, though again a professional is probably best for this.
