I'm no expert but I would say it depends on the layout of the cabinets and how you view them in the room. Here's an article from Houzz on that very subject.

People mix and match all the time.

I would need to see the kitchen before giving advice on anything.

The back wall is what shows from the dining room living room , the bottom cabinets in the pic are actually just the left side of kitchen . There will be an island in the middle

Yes, I think this mixing and matching will be fine and is really sensible for the different drawers and doors and their locations.

Knobs on those 2 small upper cabinets will look fine.

There are no "rules", just personal preferences.
