Honestly, the first thing you should do is power wash the house, paint the shutters. Do not paint the brick, you have some nice dentil molding that works perfectly with the brick and the age of the home. replacing that awning means replacing the clap board in spots, you might open a can of worms. You might just peel the roof off of it and replace rotted wood. id go with black shutters. Also landscaping does wonders.

I would also replace the teethed flashing on the awning with a straight board, and new wood handrails. It a really cute house.🙂

You might put some copper roofing on the awning, if you don't replace it. I like the brick foundation, and you need a bit of landscaping that will cover it up, anyway. I find the gray shutters on a white house blah. I'd go with navy or forest green. Is that a boarded up window in the gable? If so, can you replace it with a real window?
