Terrazzo troubleshooting

We bought some beautiful terrazzo tiles that had to be stored outside for about a month as our bathroom reno was suddenly rescheduled. The stack was double tarped and off the ground but a lot of it still ended up taking on moisture and some even became waterlogged, leading to a slight change in the colour. It‘s more or less uniform, some minor splotches but overall a shade or two darker. They’re rated for pools and patios so thought short term outdoor storage wouldn’t be a problem but now not so sure. We’ve had them out drying in the sun the past few days and they’ve lightened somewhat but they’re not going back to their original colour.

I’d love to hear if anyone knows whether terrazzo can be permanently stained/discolored by continued exposure to moisture or if we just have to be patient and give them more time to dry out before we choose our grout. Thanks!
