Telling me what you mean by "water pump" will help me more than 2 pictures of leak and/or ball valve. Afterall there are countless water pumps serving countless purposes. My knee jerk is sump pump but it's up to you to say.

The dripping is not going to impact the foundation, but it does need to get fixed. Let's see some pictures of what you're got. Otherwise, you're not going to get any specifically useful advice.

It could just be condensation dripping off a cold water pipe if your water source is very cold and your crawl space is humid. We have a well and our groundwater is very cold and we had this in our basement before we got a dehumidifier. The water is still very cold, but now the basement is not as humid and we no longer get condensation on the cold water pipes. Adding pipe insulation is another solution to the condensation problem.

I've sweated pipes in crawlspaces and even though I have a Florida plumbing license, I'd hire it done. Particularly if you're claustraphobic.
