Second Guessing Myself on Installed Luxury Vinyl Planks

Question on a bathroom remodel. Does the direction of these installed vinyl planks look strange…should they have been installed parallel to the long wall as opposed to horizontal as pictured. Vanity and toilet will be installed on the right looking at the pic. My installer recommended this direction. Thanks for any advice!
