I've not (yet) done a bearing replacement, although I have a machine set aside that needs that job. The drive shaft seal is the reasonable source of your squeal, other than the new bearings which doesn't seem reasonable. Did you remove the seal and apply grease (lightly) inside of it where it contacts the shaft? I did a bearing replacement years ago on a Whirlpool Duet frontloader and didn't apply any grease to the shaft seal. It had a horrible squeal during tumble rotation, which eased at higher speeds (load distribution and spin). I had to disassemble the whole thing and apply a bit of grease accordingly. A bit of oil may also be workable but of course avoid anything that could cause deterioration of the seal material.

Thanks Dadoes. I disassembled the washer drum and added more silicone grease to the seal and now the squeaking is gone.
