Just based on your photo it looks like a warmer siding color would be better with both the stone and roof colors. Maybe a softer white for the trim. No shutters.

ETA - Looks like Intellectual Gray is a warm shade. Hmmm…looks more cool in your photo.

You had the house painted and didn't have the trees trimmed? What were you thinking?

You cannot see the house because of the overgrown trees. They require pruning.

You should be able to see out of each window.

A small scale crepe myrtle between the two garage windows could be a nice hit of color provided you purchase the correct size. The crepe myrtles come in different varieties.

Actually the trees were manicured before we painted.

The paint color doesn’t bother me and will look different in different light. Take some time to get used to it. If you get snow, wait and look at it during the winter, too.

You can break up the gray on the left side of the pic with landscaping. The left side doesn’t balance the complexity on the right side, but I think the paint color is OK.

You could add trees for height, and if you want, add color to the ground on the left side in the form of garden beds and/or paver walkways that bring out the siding and roof color.

I agree the paint doesn't look bad and you should focus on landscaping. I would move the small tree right in front out into the yard. It is not cheap, but it will be well worth it. I like Beverly's idea about the left side of the house and the crepe myrtle.

I don't like the gray either so I would repaint.

Whatever you do or don’t do, paint the downspouts the house color. Def not trim color.

I dont like the tree in front of the windows either. It should be removed and replanted elsewhere. Also the big tree on the right, should be cut down a bit, it blocks the upstairs window. The front needs new landscaping too. Maybe contact a landscape company and have them draw up a plan and then you can do the rest little by little.

Since you have a brownish roof, and it appears there is brown in the stone, although its hard to tell from your picture, and it doesnt enlarge, you might have been better off with a tannish color, rather than the gray. I also think the white is too stark. A warmer white, may have been better.

The white trim is startling. If it were warmer the paint color would look better.

If you hate it, have it redone. It’s too big a decision to not like the color of your home. It actually doesn’t matter what we think.

That is why so important to look at some visual before painting.
