I like the look of the siding. Is it engineered or real wood?

It is from the AquaFir product line, the color is black, profile is board and batten (1x8 and 1x4), wire brush texture using douglas fir wood. Everything is pre-finished and sealed at our mill. We offer douglas fir, cedar, and hemlock (all real wood). We also offer Thermally modified wood in clear cedar.
