If those are buds, they are very small. The buds need to be bigger before the flowers open.

See the big bud on the left and a smaller one in the center. wild guess, you'll have flowers in a couple weeks. Nice looking plant, tidy plant area. I know you are looking forward to that bloom!

Of course, I know the buds have to get bigger before they open. 😊 And yes, those are buds (that I have been waiting for about 3 years?), I won't be asking if I wasn't sure I had buds. 😊 Ten days later, they are the size of your smaller bud so I am guessing by the end of this month? Temperatures are cooler here than usual at this time of the year. My balcony is getting fewer hours of sun now. This guy now gets about 5 hours of afternoon/evening sun. I am wondering if I should bring it indoors where it is warmer and it will get about the same amount of morning sun in a SE window but much lower light for the rest of the day.

keep it outside ... don't take it inside yet or you may suffer bud drop

I fund what appeared to be birds nibbling on the buds (or perhaps it was bud drop due to cooler temps and less sunlight. Anyhow, I ended up moving it indoors. It has lost a few buds since then but still has a few. I have added grow lights and hopefully I will get at least some flowers this season.

First bloom is here, thanks to me dropping the pot and almost breaking the branches. None of the healthy branches have any buds. I wonder if I were to cut the damaged branches, it would go back to being a non-flowering houseplant.
