Unlevel, downward sloping coal room shelf install.

The back and side walls are about 10" above the door entry basement floor level. I intend to install a wrap-around shelf the whole way around to both sides of the door - out of pine and plywood. Any hints to create a sufficiently stable base with the angled floor would be appreciated very much! I'm an amateur but have worked saws and drills my fair share. 8' x 8' space. Thank you!

Measure, measure, measure and make it custom. You can shim if you are not 100% perfect. I'd measure from the floor onto the wall to the height you want. Then draw a line on the wall that's level. Use a spirit level. Then, I'd measure my legs from the line. I'd wash the walls and paint first. Coal dust sludge is pretty nasty stuff. Washing the walls well enough to paint will take some work.

I will be using a combo of 2.5" wood screws and Tapcon 3/16 in. x 2-3/4 in. Phillips-Flat-Head Concrete Anchors - sounds about right?
