Does anyone happen to have experience with the Renaissance Fireplaces Rumford fireplace 1000 or 1500? We're looking at wood burning options that create a nice ambiance but still put out a little bit of heat (enough to warm a small-medium sized room). When looking through the manual for the Rumford, it says that "the Renaissance is primarily a decorative appliance..." While we don't need this to heat a whole house, we want to make sure it's more than just pretty to look at.
