Too many wires 2 count

Hi,,I'm dealing with a sprinkler system that comes on in the morning,,I never programed that,,
I've changed the timer box and hooked up everything like it was,,ok. I've got a 4 valve 4 selinoid manifold ,,that runs 4 stations,,so why do I need a 12 station timer,,only 9 are hooked up,on a 4 valve 4 station system,,and also could it be that's a possibility for it turning on in the morning??

Hi Edwin, I know these timer units can be a pain. Maybe take a look at the instructions and see if there’s a troubleshooting guide as frustrating is that is.
As far as the amount of stations I’m not sure why you have so many although now that you do, it’s really good to have for expansion should you ever need to add more valves. Also there might also be a YouTube video out there that would walk you through it.
