Since you haven't had much response to your inquiry, may I suggest that professionals are the best sources for this information. Your contractor? Your countertop/tile person? Your decorator?

They have helped me some. They sent me to a really good place and they had beautiful slabs but they were higher than anybody else and my husband thinks they are too high…ugh

Are the slabs the big ticket or doing the sink? I have to say my preference always for sinks is stainless one bowl nice and deep undermout and the best one you can afford. Forget the workstaion stuff just a really good sink You can buy a decent sized cutting board for less that the tiny one that block 1/2 the sink

Yea the slab will be our biggest expense. I’m not as picky about the sink
