No to putting the TV above the mantel but for sure swap th TV and the sofa get all the extra storage stuff awya it clutters up the space If storage is an issue then deal with that by getting one cabinet to ahndle all of it I think a nivece long buffet type cabinet caould easily handle all that stuff and begin by purging things that do not need to be in that space . A smaller scaled sofa with no lounger end would also be a much better choice . and no recliners and you for sure do not have space for 2 recliners and 2 loveseats ever in that space Mayebe one smaller scaled sofa and one chair . Loveseats are useless pieces so none ..

Draw a floor with dimensions and location of doors & windows.

One thing I would do is put the sofa in front of windows and TV on wall. I would get a higher and wider TV console. Art that is brighter and about the the size of the firebox for over the FP.

T v on wall behind chairs. I would prefer swivel chairs that would make watching the t v easier.

Great idea of @tracefloyd to rotate dining table. To do that & allow enough space around table you may need to move the bookshelf unit & family gallery photos & move the hutch towards the kitchen. That would be good anyway as that wall really has too much on it. Maybe try that bookshelf unit as the new TV stand to test for sizing. Swapping positions of couch & TV as suggested is great & doing that opens up the path to porch door. Win-win! @elcieg idea of swivel chairs is also a great one.

Do you want the TV over the fireplace like you had before so you can see it from the dining room? If so, elcieg's 2d arrangement of sofa and chair is about your only seating option, which means you won't get 2 recliners in there, unless you forego a sofa altogether in favor of independent seating.

You can find interesting carved wooden window screens that would fit over the window in your porch door. If you paint that entire wall a dark color, including the door, get a window screen, dark door hardware, it might look nicer. You can find very inexpensive ones on Etsy or do google searches. You can paint these to match your walls.

You could put a mirror if you like on the other side of the fireplace, with table/cabient beneath and a lamp. Or do you very much like the artwork you've got hanging on the right wall near the kitchen? Might fit to the left of the fireplace, and put a light over it.

I wouldn't use a coffee table or ottoman in the middle of the room. Use small tables you can move around as a place to set down coffee or cell phones, etc.

I might skip the drapes on the window, especially if there is a sofa put in front of it, and go for a cellular shade that can be closed from the top down or the bottom up. Check Hunter Douglas.

We don't have a coffee table. Good idea. We use two lightweight poufs. Love my BP Wells swivel with a pouf I can move for my feet. You can always use a tray on top for drinks. 18" Extra seating?
