Help with Wetbar

We are in the process of finishing our basement. We have a dedicated wall for a wetbar. It is 150” long. Is there a way to design a wetbar that is only 120” long without it looking stupid? Can something be put on the end like art work. I was trying to avoid a seamed counter or blocking view. I was originally going to build a bump out on the right to enclose it, but didn’t for two reasons. One I didn’t want to block the view when you come down stairs (behind that wall) and turn corner 2) plus to match depth on opposite side it had to be 27” inches (covers hvac) and jut out too much. First photo shows the space. Second and third are inspirational photos. I will put metal shelving above. Note: cabinets will NOT be custom as we are trying to contain costs so thinking of ikea. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Add a full height refrigerator and full height wine cooler at each end.

Personally I wouldn't let the prospect of a seam dictate the wet bar design; shorting the width by 30" will be awkward. Fill the full 150" width and put a seam at the sink.

Build the wall.

Coming down the stairs you are looking the opposite direction. NOT seeing something is often nice and then when you round the corner it presents itself, fully inset in a space that was custom designed for it. Without the other end cap wall, you are missing a key feature of your inspiration photos and you will struggle with balance. Also for the shelves, the 2 walls might be nicer / more sturdy than just the one / hanging them

And as noted - seam at the sink and you won't notice.

Because our stairway makes a 180 turn getting long materials there is sometimes not possible. I tiled the counter and bar top. Our caninets are mostly from Ikea, a few site-built. Video includes some details
