Yes, undercabinet lights maybe are too cool. Can you change to a warmer light source there, say 2700 kelvin?

Alabaster is SW's most popular warm white, but you're going to have to sample next to the counters to see which white will be best. You could also look at Pure White.

What do the cabinets look like in totally natural light with no undercabinet lighting. Lift the shades and take another photo. I personally love what looks like cream, not yellow. Add some useful warm wood touches on countertops--cutting board, wood bowl, tray that will warm up the countertops. Definitely check out Maria Killam link @bkeith provided.

The dining room looks great. Honestly, it all works, at least on my screen.

I think it looks good as is. I think it's better to have a contrast in colors than a very slight mismatch. If the cabinets, walls, and counters were all the same color it would be very blah. Once you get backsplash and all your kitchen stuff in there, I think you'll like it more.

I think it looks good, too. Your backsplash will pull it together. This has happened to other people and, in the end, they love the combination.

Change the lightbulbs as was suggested.

Here is another pretty cream and white kitchen. Maybe you can make yours work with cream and white window treatments and counter accessories.

I love cream and white kitchens and yours is no exception. I think it looks great!

I would not change the paint. It is a soft creamy color, not yellow, on my screen anyways.

The only changes I would do is getting warmer under cabinet lighting as suggested (seems to be making the counter and backsplash have a little bit of a pink cast) and change out the grey roman shade above the sink to something with whites and creams and maybe some other soft colors in the pattern.

Once finished and decorated, your kitchen could fit right in with all those pretty staged kitchens posted above. Here is one more with similar color wood floors and cabinet pulls. .

When I blow up your picture, I see you have the same quartz as a full height backsplash.

Is your range going to be gas? I hope not because there has been problems with scorching on the quartz behind the range,

To everyone suggesting tile backsplash, I believe their backsplash is already installed and is the same as the countertop material.

Painting cabinets well is an expensive undertaking. My first instinct is to play with the lighting both in your under cabinet and overhead lights to see if you can change the perception of yellow undertones in the cabinets.

I'd also consider chrome or brass hardware. I think the black is really high contrast with the cream and makes it seem more yellow, whereas a brass or chrome will tone it down a bit.

I totally empathize with your disappointment, But also think you should live with it for a month and then see what you think of it. I think it looks nice.

Another vote in favour of not painting the cabinets. I think it looks great.

First change all the light bulbs to LEDs 4000K then see how everything looks.

Lean into the yellow kitchen look. It’s a great look. It isn’t on anyone’s list of ”the next hot thing” and it isn’t on anyone’s ”hideously dated” look. It is the perfect homey niche to occupy!

Thanks everyone- we are changing all the pulls/knobs/faucet to brass, but they aren’t in yet.

The backsplash is full slab quartz that was installed yesterday. Definitely not changing it!

I will change the lighting and see if that helps before we do anything drastic.

Please don’t underestimate the value of accessories on the countertop. Wood bowls, green apples, etc. bring in other colors in that help bring the creamy cabinets and white countertops together. It’s really a beautiful kitchen.

I might reconsider the stools, though. Would they be hard to reupholster?

Even if the cabinets and counters were an exact match they'd still be off. Different materials different colors. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Looks great. We don't know what you had before so likely you are just a bit stunned at the brightness of the new counter and backsplash. I would suggest changing that lovely roman shade to one that is not so white. I see it coordinates with your drapes but the white and cool blue between the cabinets highlights the creaminess of the cabinets. Here's some ideas with blue and warmer colors that I feel pull it together a bit more. These are in no way the perfect choices but just to give you the idea of warming up the shade to create a more blending line with the cabinets. Maybe even a woven wood could work in the right color.

Your kitchen looks great. Change the pulls/knobs, add some decor, and a couple of plants/flowers.

I have SW Snowbound with cream trim on my walls. It works.

Maybe add artwork on the hood shelf.

If you are concerned about the possibility of scorching your quartz backsplash behind your stove, especially if it’s gas, lean a few wooden cutting boards behind it. No, they won’t catch fire, and they will look beautiful.

Oh I love it. This is the original color combo I wanted but our cabs were more white so we went dark for countertops. This was my fist love though and yours looks so pretty. Not yellow to me but creamy.

I think it looks really good! Why not live with it for awhile? You may end of loving it when you start really working in it.

Layering whites makes a white kitchen look interesting and not flat. Try painting the walls same color or deeper than the cabs, warming up the counter with Kelvin scale warm light bulbs for undercab and overhead lighting, new fabric on window and stools, pop of saturated color in accessories.

I would definitely try changing the lighting first.

I’d add a color to the backsplash area and reupholster the stools to bring it out as well. Or paint the Not something dark, but a shade that would look good with the yellow- ish cabinets. Island a light color too. To me, it’s beautiful but all to much the same colors. You don’t have to go crazy with color, but something soft that will add some dimension. Everything in the kitchen is beautiful but nothing stands out. Just a suggestion.
