Waht do you want to light ? IMO it looks like it is not lighting anything at all where it is .

I think I'd want it to be black - or whatever the dark accent color on the house is...

Mailbox post is white, similar design. Post lamp matches two on porch (ceiling drop down lamps).

Just to clarify - agreeing with the dark sky guidelines suggestion - not the 'yuck'....

As someone who lives in a city and has bright, outdoor lights shining through my windows, I stand by "yuck".

Light bulbs in all are same, soft warm 25w.

I think the pathway lights would be a nicer choice since I still have no idea what is being lit with that light.

Something that directs light downward might be a better choice, since there's not really a need to illuminate the air above.
