I agree this will be fine.

That works fine. Make sure the lights have at least 6" of space from the end of the island.

Just be aware that with the opaque cone, the light will be directed only down on the counter. You'll need to supplement these lights with downlights in the ceiling.

Good to know! I’m not set on these lights. I do like them…but maybe i will look for a frosted white shade.

I wonder how three of those style lights would look?
