Is this furnishing that already exists, and feels disjointed when you're in it, or are you just working with these layouts and imagining how they feel? Are the individual spaces somehow not working for you, or what does "disjointed" mean, when discussing separate rooms with separate functions? Is it the empty space where all the walkways intersect?

The one area that jumps out to me is the living room. Your entry looks crowded, and at the same time it looks like an awkward place to watch TV. I'd let go of the symmetry in front of the window and switch the two couches, so that the whole arrangement can shift a little towrd the TV, leaving more space at the entrance. (A slimmer console table there would help too.) If you keep your coffee table lined up with the larger couch, you should be ok without an end table next to it. Or if you don't have the furniture shown, you could do a couch and two arm chairs, one by the window and one to the right of the TV (or keep the ottoman as something another person could sit on to chat).

There are other things shown here that I don't understand, like the bottom wall between dining room and kitchen, but perhaps that's not an area you're worried about.

Yes, this is the existing furnishing and colors, I tried to replicate the area as close as possible using Live Home 3D software so that I could easily move furniture around to see what it looks like. Maybe disjointed wasn't the correct word, but yes I think there's a lot of empty space and the rooms are not optimized for a better flow especially when we are entertaining a large group.

Those are great ideas and I appreciate the input, is this what you had in mind? The only thing with the full size couch is that the room isn't that wide enough and it doesn't allow adequate space for someone to walk by, maybe 2 1/2 ft which feels narrow.

Are you referring to the L shaped short wall between the kitchen and dining room? The whole blueprint of the house does not seem that well planned out and I'd be open to moving or removing walls as long as they are not structural.

That was the general idea, but without the end table between the couch and the wall. It works better with chairs than with the loveseat, since you wouldn't want them to overlap. Take out both end tables to start and see whether you can make the couches feel at home.
