Yes, it is still relevant. There is a local wholesale nursery that continually sells diseased "Royal Standards". Their hosta are in the best (most expensive) independent nurseries in town.

Late in the season it’s so hard to tell because everything is declining. That said, it’s a little funky looking so I would keep an eye on it. Is it in a pot? I would separate it from the others just in case. See what happens in spring. Out of curiosity, what hosta is that?
