How hot will the glass get when the fireplace is on?

I would be asking that quesion for sure since there is a lot of glass exposed even with the frame and as shown it is like awall and we all know how walls get touched all the time . I do think it is pretty stunning as far as design is concerned.

If the FP gets placed in the room so you can see it from all sides, where do you place a big screen TV & seating?

Glass front fireplaces have safety screens that cover the glass. I see that is noted in the lower left corner of the picture. I'd be interested to know what this unit looks like with the safety screens on it. I have a glass front linear FP (not see through) and the screen does somewhat distort the clarity of the fire but since it's not see through, it really doesn't matter. If one of the selling points is the crystal clear see through view, the screens will impact that. You'd have to see one IRL to know how much. You can probably remove them but yes, the glass gets really hot when the fire is on so you'd definitely want them on when using fire.

I like the 2nd image you posted where the stunning fireplace is imbedded in a wall rather than sited in the middle of an open room. Much better for furniture placement and safety.

Consider going to a showroom where you can see and test the fireplace when on. See the visual impact of the screens and test the hotness if you touch or lean against the screens.

Cool concept! In addition to concerns addressed above, be sure to ask how to clean the inside of the glass as it will get dirty.
