they should be centered at eye level. generally 65" off the floor to the centr of the image.

I would use the center of the four frames as the center as a whole. eye level.

Make some paper cutouts the same size and use painter's tape to arrange them until you get them how you want. If you still need help, post pics of your different trials here for feedback.

Agree with treating the 4 frames as one piece with center point at eye level. I like to use 57-60” from the floor.

The eye level rule doesn’t always apply if you’re hanging art over furniture or a mantel. In that case, about 6-8 inches above the furniture or mantel will keep a nice connection without the art floating too high above. However, that’s not always practical with benches. You could still use the eye level rule to hang the frames and add a couple pillows to the bench to fill in space, if necessary.

I don't follow any rules for hanging art. I hang them at the height that works best for me, the walls, the room and anything else I want to consider into the equation.

It’s really a visual decision with a bench due to empty wall space above but wanting a connection (can add cushions to help).

Next is to find the center, then arrange templates about 3 inches apart, vertically and horizontally. The next fun part is lining up the 4 nails! I ended up using 2 nails so I could slide a picture a touch if needed (it was).

Your bench is on the shorter side, so may be fine with their size and eventual set up.

Use templates to play around with height as well as distance between each picture. Add two more see if it looks better. The spacing doesn't have to be exact at this point and will give you enough of an idea of what looks better. If too much trouble, consider one lovely picture.

I just started a new job and hopefully will be able to make some other changes once settled in but for now I will update rest of my appliances at some point to stainless and my goal is to update granite to a light color. Also want to replace the white blinds in the kitchen with the light woven blinds. But love the pictures so much and the bench is the larger bench from Ballard’s and it works!!!

Ok so I want them to go up and down not just decorative. Do you agree? I have them in my back room but thinking like this (but much lighter) or do you recommend different? These were custom.

One more- I just love it!

Depending on the piece or pieces, I have learned to hang art at eye level. Since I am short, that may be lower than what others recommend. But in my house, I am the one that sees it. Yes, others see it too, but I hang it for my pleasure and viewing.

Th center of a picture should be 64-67 inches above the floor. But in your case I sugged you tape the wall in a cross pattern with the cross alignment be between 64-67 inches and see what you like best. then arrange your pictures 3 inches apart in each direction.

Julie, these are customs blinds I did in did in another room. Do you suggest this look/style for my kitchen? I would go with a much lighter color similar to the material in the pictures.

I have been busy too! my daughter had a baby on Sept. 12th I was in Seattle helping her for 3 weeks…I now have 2 granddaughters. Her name is Olivia…she is just adorable.…had fun doing the nursery.

I have so many things I want to tackle but did reach out on updating my kitchen to woven roman blinds to replace the white wood blinds but think I’ll wait as it was over $1500. My concerns are the panels aren’t going to survive with the dog and his size. This is nothing urgent but a possible new project..

I’m back to small kitchen updates. I want to paint the kitchen a lighter color (more whitish??) and get those woven blinds to add to the window treatments. I will look at select blinds. Hope all is well and miss the fun decorating projects.
