I’m wondering if anyone has any experience or seen a mix of materials when redoing the siding. I was thinking about the possibility of doing some really nice Hardie siding on the front of my house and using vinyl for the sides and back. I’m trying to save some money because I want to install insulation behind the new siding. One of the contractors I talked to suggested the idea and had done it at some homes but was just wondering if anyone had any experience doing this and if it’s a good option?
