NEED HELP WITH MY MASTER

Need help finding an area rug that would compliment my art in my master bedroom. Im starting from scratch and looking for a rug that will not clash with my art. Art will be going on the wall in-between the two windows. Also turning that wall into an accent wall. thinking of a dark gray.

I would use a cowhide rug. Your art is awesome.

Where would I place it? And what color would you recommend?

I think a very dark, almost black, and white cowhide placed by the chair would look great.

Love this color for your wall but would do the wall behind your headboard..add drapes in a dark grey or roman shades…but if you want drama! take the dive and paint the entire room dark grey.

Basquiat boxing! I freaking love it! You are going to create an amazing eclectic look between the picture and your lovely bed.

I would not get too literal with your color choices and the artwork. Get a nice deep pile rug in a neutral color that goes with your walls, floor, and chair - perhaps a oatmeal color. Your painting will certainly go with it.

I love the idea of painting your whole room dark grey, but if that is too deep of a dive, then paint your headboard wall. I think the window wall is an odd wall for an accent color. I think the suggestion below of witching hour is a good one. I'm also a big fan or racoon fur. It has a nice inky blue black color that will contrast nicely with the orange in the painting.

I actually don't like area rugs under beds I think nice ones on either side are great for bare feet but in my experience the large area rugs are pretty much un der the bed for what purpose I have no clue. I think so nice shag mats on either side of the bed in a color like the bedding I am not sure painting the wall dark gray would enhance the art unless you use an exact gray from the art. I think you need window coverings so what are you planning there? I love gray bedrooms so no issue for me if the whole space was gray. The bedding and the chair are really neutral so you can have a bit of fun with color I would for sure introduce the orange with a pillow on the bed . You need lighting so check out some really cool lamps Sorry did not see the pic of the lights Those work but a bit boring with tta art . I have alot of really colorful polyglass art and try to add bits of color to accent the art in accessories or wall color .

I wouldn't do gray. I would use dark blue. Complement the orange, make the art stand out rather than match the wall.
