Chestnut Oak or other oak?

Leaves reminded me of a chestnut oak but smallish. Although the plant was in full sun on the edge of a meadow. All acorns had dropped and mixed with other nearby oaks. Pics to come in comments.

    From the Southaven County Park Trail Guide:

    "Within Southaven Park several different varieties of oak can be found, including white, black and scrub." (note: "scrub" apparently refers to both Bear Oak and Dwarf Chinkapin Oak)

    From the New York Natural Heritage Program:

    "There are two shrubby oaks characteristic of pitch pine-scrub oak barrens: Scrub Oak or Bear Oak (Quercus ilicifolia) and Dwarf Chinquapin Oak (Quercus prinoides)."
