Where are you ? IMO I would use Canadel because they have been around longer and also because I am Canadian so prefer Canadian made and now for sure with the high exchange rate .

I have had a Canadel table for 20 years and it is indestructible. I will buy another one if I need a different look when I remodel my kitchen.

My Canadel table was not indestructible. Pushing a dish across it would leave a mark . Also the bottom edge was sharp and would dent my chairs when they were pushed in. I do believe that Gat Creek produces a quality product (based upon which store in my area carries the brand), but I can't really attest to durability.
