Does anyone collect duck decoys?

I don’t hunt, but I fell in love with the carved and painted wood duck decoys they used to sell in a luggage store I frequented years ago. They cost more than I wanted to spend, and they weren’t a match for my decor style. I have always wanted some though.

Now I live in the woods, and it may be time to collect a few. But I can’t see them in person. Were they a trend? Are they sold at art fairs? Do you have pics of your favorites? Do I have to spend hundreds of dollars on each one? I am only interested in the wood carved duck decoys that have detail in carving and paint, have a smooth surface and a little glossy, and not too big, maybe 10”-14”.

I ordered an inexpensive one from Amazon, but I think I’ll want more. Unless you can talk me out of it. Ha!
