Thank you so much! I feel the same way. I didn’t even realize they were not 8 foot when we first saw the home. Love my home and ceiling height never bothered me but I’m only 5’6” tall.

Hardwood floors are a permanent upgrade for your home. Lvp and laminate are fine but have a limited lifespan and can’t be refinished or matched if you ever want more. Is the house on slab or basement?

I would go with real wood floor any day. It is simply a timeless, healthy, and renewable floor covering that laminate and lvp won't.

My condo has light (natural satin), white oak hardwood floors nearly throughout. They're the best thing about the place.

3 story home on a basement. Concerned about 2 pugs having an accident on the wood floors. Everyone is saying to use LVP and dogs might ruin the floors. Potty trained but our little Lucy has an occasion accident. We are going to build a doggy door out to our fenced in back door, so that should help.
