Late last week we noticed a vivid red appearing through the trees behind us and emailed the neighbour to ask what it was... He said it was a Japanese maple that was putting on a great show this year. Today when we were walking Cole (our dog) they were out raking leaves so we asked if we could see the tree... What a great tree!

When we left that neighbour's backyard, this combination of Laburnum in Fall color with a blue spruce (?) was attractive too. The trees were planted decades ago by a former owner of the property.

Fall has been a very attractive season here this year!
