We hired a tile installer (highly recommended from a friend) who got angry when we asked him why he put tiles with broken edges. We bought extra so he could use new ones if he made mistake when cutting. He yelled at the homeowner and told her “to stop commenting on his work while he is in the house”. He showed up the next day to finish putting the grout which he rushed through. He left the house without saying anything. We paid him cash because he is working under the table (still charged us $100/hr). Does anyone have any suggestions what we can do to fix the broken edges without replacing the whole area?
