What a nice cozy space your have!

I am not sure what colors you like or what pile you are looking for.

Here are two I just found to provide some thoughts.

They are probably a bit on the larger size. I was just going for color and style to see where you are leaning.

You have a fairly neutral background with which to work. You could go in almost direction you want.

Nice room, adding a rug will look great!

I am also not sure what color, pile or size rug you are looking for. The rug websites allow you to upload your DR photo and try out different rugs.

I am really liking the new West Elm Kay rug which is reversible.

Thank you everyone! With kids, I think a low pile rug would be best. I am super torn on colors and design. The room tends to feel a bit cold so wanting to warm it up, and make it feel more inviting and bright

Hi Danielle. I was playing around with the room rug visualizer on Rugs Direct. I have been looking and trying to find that rug for half an hour now and I cannot for the life of me find it. I know I did searches for blue, green, gold, yellow and I think that was it.

Do you really want a rug under table, with young kids? Not just spills on rug, but the whole vacuuming approach is more complicated with 2 different flooring materials, pulling chairs out to clean. So not just “ preciousness” of a rug, but having the energy to do upkeep with busy family life. That’s me though.
