The best location for the TV is in front of the window? If you want assistance, photos of the total room, not just one corner are required.

I suspect your TV might work better on the wall where you have positioned your seating.

Not much love for sectionals on this forum. (I personally will never buy one, partially because of the difficulties of arranging the room around one, but that’s just me.)

I assume you already have one? If so, how many pieces is it? How large? Is it possible for you to provide a sketch (to scale) of the room where it’s going? Include locations of windows and doors.

This is how it looks like. We don’t have sectionals yet and are trying to figure out what to buy and how many pieces.

Draw a floorplan with measurements of all walks, windows, doorways, and the adjacent kitchen. Then mockup up rectangles/ squares for furniture and you’ll at least have some reference measurements that can relate to lengths & depths of sofas, chairs, tables, sectional pieces, and where TV can go. Keep an open mind about the specific types of seating, because certain types may work better than others once you consider viewing distances, walking spaces, doorways.

I do not, usually, recommend installing the t v over the fireplace, but I would not suggest you replace it in front of the windows and, giving up the one solid wall is a waste. Consider this arrangement:

As for how many pieces, add measurements of the space. You may be able to add a dining table behind the sectional.

If you haven't consider lighting, ask you electrician to install a floor plug under where the sectional will be positioned. That way, should you decide to have any table behind it, you can add lamps.
