Trying to get to next steps in various rooms….transitioning from the entryway that is a bright teal - while trying to stick with the black/gold contrasts. Attached some Inspo photos (love velvet!) - drawing a blank!!! Have been for years jk

i love all your inspiration pics, and your velvet couch! I have a similar color scheme with teals , blushes and magenta with gold and black accents ( my DD has a hot pink hand chair in her college apartment, so that made me smile too).

maybe you can take some more pics to show what’s going on in the entryway and how it connects to room you’re showing in order to get some suggestions.

I never like two colors for drapes to me it always looks like you couldn't find enough of one color and for sure not all those pillows on that tiny sofa.BTW all the inspos in the world will not help us help you We need to see your space in real life . Do not see an issue with the color scheme where you would include the teal in a small item ot print . Do you have furniture now or is this from scratch.

maybe a gold arc lamp, coffee table, some fun wall decor..

Ahh i completely agree! The waiting area part and the two diff colored drapes! Fixing drapes now - my only question with the waiting area part, is what goes on / against the walls if i move things in? I managed this on my second floor, but i think only because of the windows and staircase made it more natural for me. I considered fake drapes? Like a fake window wall? Idk if that’s a thing! Let me get some entryway pictures

Okay here are some different angles with the entryway! Sorry i tried to photoshop things that aren’t there any longer to make it less distracting :/ i hope this helps! Thank you all so much!!!!!!

We might suggest looking into getting some window treatments that are all the same color, pulling the front feet of the furniture onto the rug, adding some large artwork, and some side tables or a coffee table. You could also look at adding some poufs to the space and maybe a floor lamp. Please notice the poufs, furniture placement, and artwork used in our designs here.

@douglah all the windows are black zebra blinds! Your advice is spot on because i added 2 side tables and a floor lamp! Mid sized artwork in the smaller of the two rooms - waiting for the “right” large artwork as i hadn’t decided on accent color yet. Black gold and….blush? Black gold and….teal? Hot pink?

On my second floor i have black gold with zebra accents perpendicular to white gold with purple hued velvet accents. And my office on the third floor is white gold and emerald green….so it feels I’m running out of options, though I’m sure I’m not. I just think i prefer to simplify to one accent vs both the blush AND teal - little too noisy?

& a huge thank you to the geniuses that suggested one color drapes. Not sure what i was thinking - wow! 2 of the same end tables now with very big lamps!
