I'm building a new home in Los Angeles. Transitional style, not traditional at all. Looking at bronze outside, and bronze or white inside. Mostly sliders. I got some quotes from BFS. They quoted Andersen 100, as well as Pella Impervia (25k vs 40k). Pella's quality and customer support seems bad, so I'd rather stay away. The build quality itself looks bad to me. But I would prefer a fiberglass window. I'm assuming the thermal stability of fiberglass would be an advantage. I'm pretty sure I don't want wood (looks, longevity). Aluminum is likely expensive, especially efficient stuff that will pass Title 24.

What would you suggest that will last for 20-30 years trouble free? I don't mind paying a bit more if I can save myself a lot of headache down the road.
