IMO at least 2 seats should face the TV I find watching TV at an angle really not good.What is the actual size of the space . Post the mesuarements of the space and IMO loveseats are useless pieces to start and with one arm thaey are a chair so why not just 4 chairs 2 facing the TV and the other two one on each side .I need the room measurements post here either added to your drawing if possible or a new drawing with measurements posted here in a comment DO NOT start another post.

Why is a loveseat useless, Patricia? Is it not simply a sofa sized for two without the undesired middle seat?

Renovator, how much length do you need to be able to lay down and how many people do you need to be able to lie at once?

I do think if you post measurements as well as a few photos, you might get some suggestions you hadn't considered.

Room measurements are 11.75 ft x 16 ft.

The thing about the one arm loveseat that is different from a chair is that I could lay down. @patricia Are you saying something like 2 chaise chairs would be better?

@Iri, enough room for a couple people to lie down separately would be good. I’m 5’5. Something 65 inches long or so should be enough. The one arm sofa I looked at is 68.5 inches.

@deegw, very helpful to know what this setup was like in realtime use. I can’t put a TV on the wall near the front door because of the opening. Thank you for the swivel chair, loveseat, ottoman idea.

What about these pieces from Wayfair? The chaise is 63" and that would allow a 3' walkway behind the chaise from the front door to the far end of the room; and, 3' of floor on fireplace side.

This chaise is a left facing open side, but the other side has enough support if you needed more seating. You get to lie down to watch t v. Opposite you go with matching chairs. So, in a pinch you could seat 5.

Both get 4+ stairs for 300+ reviews.

I would have a full sized sofa running parallel to the tv so most people view the tv. Then a chair on either end of sofa and coffee table in middle

I would never do chaises in a space for entertaining .

If you put a sofa facing the fireplace/TV, wouldn’t that be the same distance as the arm side of the loveseat? i think a sofa facing it plus 2 chairs facing the sofa could work. Or, could you put the TV on the wall next to the door?

Would 4 swivel chairs on casters with a round ottoman/coffee table work for you?

May we have measurements of the room that include the measurements of each opening? Also pictures of the room itself from each corner? This will help a great deal.
