Shaker door closet AND wainscotting - too much?

For my daughters nursery we are going to have a beige wall to wall pax closet on one wall (see first pic below) and the other side I was wanting to do a wainscotting accent wall in a very pretty Bohemian pink... but I'm wondering if this will be like too much panels and will clash or will it tie in nicely together?

How big is the room? Can you post a diagram of the room, with measurements? Be sure to include the openings (windows, doors, closet doors) and where you anticipate the furniture will be.

It will be fine since they are on different walls.

Looks fine! Because the style is simple and similar to the Shaker and as Kendra commented, on a different wall.

Keep the profiles the same and it should be alright, aside from the pink color. It would be better if they matched.

@iri I def don't want an all beige room. The colors go very nice together. This is the palate I'm using (it's BM palmetto pink).

So sorry I have no idea why my reply sent multiple times (it won't let me delete). What do you mean by same profile

    Beautiful color combinations.

What you labeled "beige" from the Color Palette Series - Palette 08 is (on my monitor) not really the same as IKEA Pax beige. Just a suggestion but you may want to find a very similar paint color to PAX beige and then find matching colors for that.*

*example: Scroll down webpage to see matching colors for Palmetto Pink.

I've already went to the IKEA store with samples and the two colors go together beautifully :) totally understand what you mean though and It typically looks very different on the screen, but the palmetto pink goes very nice nicely with the pax beige.. I'm loving the color scheme together with white. I just wanted to know about the shaker door with the Wayne scotting Wall ... based on the shaker door style, do you have any suggestions on what type of wainscotting would look nice on the opposite wall (which will have her crib and change table)?

I am not a huge wainscoting lover but IMO if you use the same pattern for the wall as the closet it will be perfect I love the pink just be prepared for change of that as the years go by kids have afave every year once they hit 2 I uusually do very neutral after 2 for walls and add the color of the year in things easily changed . Please make sure those closets are well attached to the wall too. I love Pax and as shee ages it is easy to change the needs inside of them

If the wainscoting panels mirror the closet (i.e. the width of the wood pieces are very close or exactly the same size) it will look like a customized, upscale room. Love the colors you chose as well. Lucky little girl to have such a gorgeous room! (And not standard pink)
