We are adding on a small guest house off of our current pool deck (which is on the on the water) and would like to put a fireplace with tv similar to the pictures below without hampering the view. I have also included a partial picture of the plans (that will have to be tweaked) and the actual view from the future guest house. There would be water view from two sides. We would like to have a fireplace that actually puts out some heat and it is a new build so we could do gas or electric. So my questions are 1) would you recommend placing the fireplace/tv in middle of wall with windows on each side (the other wall would be full slider glass door facing the pool) or in corner with glass slider on one wall and all windows on the other. 2) would the heat from the fireplace on the tv be an issue?
